Updating information on my u4 officialdatingdirectory com
Until recently, individuals were required to update their residential address by completing a CRD Change of Address Form and submitting it to FINRA .FINRA has improved and streamlined this process so that individuals can now update their residential address information online at FINRA’s Individual Snapshot website. For additional information about the revised Forms, please review the answers to .Update Regarding Electronic Filing Requirements for Uniform Forms: The signature requirements associated with the filing of the uniform registration forms are found in FINRA Rule 1010 (formerly NASD Rule 1140) and on the respective forms.Pursuant to FINRA By-Laws, individuals continue to be subject to the jurisdiction of FINRA for at least two years after their last FINRA registration is terminated. As such, former registered representatives are required to report residential address changes to FINRA for two years following their termination date or last Form U5 amendment.
The firm can provide the RR with the link to the Web CRD Registered Representative Site and after logging on to the site, the RR will be prompted to enter the reference number which will allow him or her to access and edit the pending Form U4 filing.
Please note that a post office box (PO Box) is not acceptable as a residential address.
Additionally, individuals who are currently registered should contact their firm’s compliance/registration department to update their residential address information in the CRD system via a Form U4.
Then the RR may submit the filing back to the firm for final review and submission of the form by the firm.
